DALLAS — CAYA Reconciliation Ministries is excited to announce the launch of its 14th Annual Summer Lunch Program, beginning Tuesday, May 27, and continuing through Friday, July 25, 2025. This essential community outreach effort provides daily sack lunches to children in Paulding County who may otherwise go without consistent meals during the summer months.

Last summer, CAYA set a new program record by delivering 27,129 lunches—an increase from 25,453 in 2023 and 23,411 in 2022.

Since its founding in 2012, the Summer Lunch Program has delivered more than 250,000 meals to local children, all made possible through the generosity of volunteers, donors, and community partners.

“We know that when school ends, hunger doesn’t,” said Pastor Dan Pervorse, Pastor/Director of CAYA Ministries. “That’s why we’re committed to reaching as many children as possible again this year with a fresh lunch and a reminder that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten.”

Lunches will be prepared and distributed Monday through Friday each week from Highlands Community Church (36 Coach Bobby Dodd Rd, Dallas, GA), with support from the broader community.

Volunteers help pack and deliver 550–650 lunches per day throughout the summer.

• Share the program information with local families in need
• Pray for safety, provision, and open doors to serve

Donations can be dropped off at CAYA (445 Paulding Lane, Dallas, GA) or Highlands Community Church starting May 27.
