Get ready to have some fun coming up in downtown Dallas before students head back to school for the year.

The Back to School Block Party is coming to downtown in an event being hosted by the City of Dallas.

The event on Saturday, August 3 is being held from 4 to 8 p.m. and will feature the opportunity to get free school supplies, food, and enjoy street performances, petting zoo, the chance for kids to touch a truck or take a train ride.
