A South Paulding High School student was transported this morning with injuries to the hospital and remains in critical condition after they were struck by a vehicle in the area of Winn Road, according to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office reported on social media that the student is in critical condition at an Atlanta area hospital, per their last update late this morning.
Georgia State Patrol was called onto the scene during the morning incident that shut down Winn Road, and the Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team was investigating the incident.
No information was being shared about the student’s identity at this time.
