A fire broke out this afternoon during the hottest part of the day, making conditions “difficult” for firefighters but otherwise caused no injuries.
According to the Paulding County Fire & Rescue Facebook page, authorities responded to the residential fire on Brompton Drive at 2:25 p.m., finding a house fully engulfed in flames. Paulding County Sheriff’s deputies arrived ahead of the PCFR firefighters and trucks to put out the flames, helping with what the PCFR called “difficult operational conditions” due to the heat.
“And, thanks to the quick knockdown by (PCFR,) many of the family’s possessions were saved.”
The house did undergo significant damage due to the fire.
