The Dallas Women’s Club is finally getting its much-needed update.
The clubhouse built in 1921 has graced the corner in downtown Dallas for more than a century, and over the past months the project to preserve its historic essence and also modernize facilities within has been underway starting from the inside, along with fundraising efforts and getting materials donated.
Over the past months, much of the work has remained out of sight on the inside of the clubhouse, with foundation and structural work completed to stabilize the historic building that has been serving as the Women’s Club headquarters locally for decades.
Now the work is finally getting started on the outside.
The organization posted earlier in the week the above photo from Todd Tibbitts, providing their thanks for the drone shot along with noting that “we’re so excited to see her transformation unfold.”
The Dallas Women’s Club will continue to need support during their renovation project, and those interested in contributing can reach out by email to deblanddwc30@gmail.com and dwc1921project@gmail.com with inquiries about helping out.
