Boho + Bark gets BOOST Grant from Dallas Main St. Program

A Downtown Dallas pet store is the latest to get a grant from the city’s Main Street Program to help their business continue growing.

Boho + Bark was the latest recipient this week of the BOOST Grant, providing the business that started with an idea and a sewing machine in 2019 to expand further with new offerings.

The Main Street store plans to purchase a commercial-grade freezer so they can sell fresh-made frozen dog food and provide options for a growing category of products being sought by customers locally for healthier alternatives than what is available on grocery store shelves.

The dog-focused accessory business was the latest recipient of the BOOST Grant to help downtown businesses. The funding is provided by participation from local residents and businesses in programs put on by the Main Street Program, through events like Pumpkin Fest votes, a portion of sales from the downtown photo booth and Tour of Homes ticket sales annually.

Boho + Bark is located at 221 Main St., Dallas and is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
